It shares the first climb and the last descent with the Transpelmo Sky Run, and instead intentionally lacks the more technical sections on rock so as to also appeal to enthusiasts who prefer the more runnable routes in trail and mountain running style. But don’t be fooled, it won’t be that easy! To reach the finish line within 1h 30min from the start you need to have a good pace, dose the effort on the climb and be precise and reactive on the descent! …so, are you ready to bite the ankles of those in front of you? We start between the Tabià (the historic barns) in the center of Pècol and the first km is on asphalt to warm up the engines, crossing the wooden bridge over the Rio Canedo the real climb of 2km and 500D+ begins up to the base of Mount Pelmetto, followed by a beautiful panoramic km, runnable, undulating, with agile passages, and always with the mass of Pelmetto above your heads and the panorama of Civetta on the left. We then enter a 2km of fast descent between pastures and woods up to Palafavera. A final uphill sprint, but which can make the difference, leads to the nosedive for the last km towards the finish line in Pècol!
